Welcome to NumLock. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
NumLock is an iOS application that helps users manage their screen time by requiring mental math challenges to unlock selected apps. The App uses Apple's Screen Time API to block and unblock apps on your device. NumLock is designed as a self-imposed productivity and brain training tool.
Access to NumLock's core features requires an active subscription. Two plans are available:
Monthly: $4.99 per month. No free trial. Charged immediately upon purchase.
Annual: $39.99 per year. Includes a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged $39.99 for the first year.
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.
You may only use NumLock for its intended purpose as a personal screen time management and brain training tool. You agree not to:
— Attempt to bypass, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the App's blocking features.
— Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
— Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App.
NumLock uses Apple's Screen Time API to restrict access to apps you select. You acknowledge that:
— You are choosing to impose these restrictions on yourself voluntarily.
— The App's blocking functionality depends on Apple's frameworks and may be affected by iOS updates or changes to Apple's APIs.
— We are not responsible for any inability to access apps on your device, including in emergency situations. NumLock is not a parental control tool and should not be used to restrict another person's device access without their knowledge and consent.
NumLock does not require you to create an account. All data is stored locally on your device. There is no login, no cloud sync, and no data transmitted to external servers.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices or iOS versions. We make no claims about the educational effectiveness of the math challenges provided.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use NumLock. This includes but is not limited to damages arising from the inability to access apps on your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
